hot weather

    since it's been hot will the catfish bite?

  3. just fish for them like you would any other time....If we had a little more rain the bite would be a heck of a lot better!!

    What I have found is that they tend to bite better at dusk and over night once the water starts to cool down. For the last few weekends, I have been fishing at Miami Whitewater Park (woman does not want to go any where to iffy all of a sudden) and once the sun starts going down I can see the catfish skimming at the surface looking for food. I have caught all the cats there at park right at dusk. Maybe other guys have noticed this as well besides me.

    i agree we do need more rain.. thanks for the info
