Went up to Hoover this morning for a few hours... We started marking fish 30 yards from the docks. Dropped anchor at twin bridges where we kept marking fish. Saw a few dudes pull in white bass, but they just weren't plentiful. Can't imagine how nobody really had a great day with the sheer number of fish moving. Are they heading to their winter holding spots or what?
There has got to be good days ahead. The more I think I know the dumber I feel.

The water is warming up that may have to do with some movement. Yesterday at least in the evening had a decent wind which tends to get fish moving also.

I always mark a ton of fish, now catching them is a different story.

Was there last night and caught tons of 8 inch crappie in 13-17 fow. 5 keepers out of about 35-40 fish. Also a couple short saugeyes. Steady action but nothing to really show for it. The crappie were more aggressive this time then when I went out last week. Started at Smothers bridge and it was kinda slow. Hit some points and thats where I found the fish.
