Hoover Sunday Morning

  1. My friend Jim Vagner and I caught around 2 dozen crappie, a 25" channel cat, a few small largemouth bass, and a handfull of bluegill and white bass drifting the edge of a flat in 14 -18' dropping in 22' of water on Sunday Morning. We fished crappie spreaders with the snells having spinners and a night crawler on the bottom hook and a minnow on the top hook right off the bottom and vibes. Kept a dozen crappies that went 9 - 10" the rest released.

  2. I killed four hours out Sunday mornin'. Hit the places where I pulled in 20+ White Bass the week before, and came up skunked. Good on you and thanks for the report. I was using Vibe's and Chicada's. Went bass huntin' with a crank bait back in the cove where the crew boats dock and couldn't even get a hit back there. Marked a ton of fish, but couldn't get 'em to bite.
