seems the lake is in transition and fishing is slow.spent the day picking crappies from different locations, managing a couple dozen.surface temps were 56-59 degrees, with murky were caught deep,on vibes and spoons in the morning, and on shallow shoreline wood with jigs after the sun got least it was a beautiful day on the water :)

Right on Rick...hopefully it should pickup soon. I know Alum has been slow too lately.

  3. Fished alum & hoover today.( Tuesday the 26th ) Threw everything at those bass. Only one hit all day, missed him real bad. Guess I was just plain surprised after all those casts. Water was great the fall colors were beautiful. I just can't figure these fish out. Any tips????

    mickey,one word......................"turnover"
i think that's what we're facing now on both lakes.the fish kinda get "lost" for a week or two at this time, and it's tough goin'.they should start feeding again before long.i'll be back out this afternoon, looking for a few more though :)
    TIP for the day......................patience ;)
did you try shallow wood and rip rap?
