Thinking about getting rid of our landline phone. We never use it anymore unless a telemarketer calls. I have AT&T DSL/Phone service, am I required to have a landline phone to keep my DSL? I figure we're paying an extra $25.00/mo to get calls from telemarketers.

If you have AT&T telephone service and your Service is cancelled as a result of your basic telephone service being disconnected for any reason, including non-payment for your basic telephone service, you may be subject to Termination Charges. , this is all i could find, we cancelled our long distance srvice to cut the regular ph bill and have it set as a limited use service. our bill for the ph only is $7.00 + $19.99 for the dsl.

I don't think you can keep DSL without your local phone line.
