I was talking to a buddy of mine and he was saying that the dam had a hole in it and the lake lost 4 feet of water is this true or is my buddy a fibber

  2. Dams are extremely thick...it's possible for there to be a hole (more likely a crack) but I highly highly doubt it. The lake is probably down from there being no rain lately.

Indian? If Indian went down 4ft, the lake bottom would be exposed in over 50% of the lake. NO WAY

  4. I fish by that dam quite often, and fishingredhawk is right, if it lost 4 ft the bottom there would be exposed, it is only 4-5 ft by the dam.

The lake is down a little but not 4ft and not from a leak

  6. This is true, were they to close the big hole where the spillway is, the lake MIGHT get to 8ft deep, instead it has been stuck at 4 ft deep since they put the spillway in. :p
