Just got a pair of Hodgeman 3.5mm Neoprene Waders. Tried them out this morning and they worked great! They kept me dry and most importantly DID NOT LEAK!! :D I don't have wading boots yet. I used my old hiking boots they are kinda are waterlogged now but they worked well as far as traction and grip. I put them by the de-humidifier hoping they will dry out before next time..lol The fish weren't biting so at least the waders made my day!!

Yep, staying dry is a good thing. I bought the breathable Hodgeman 3 yrs. ago, no problems so far. I’m not sure about the neo waders but with my breathable I put Aquaseal on all the seams on the neoprean boot and where the neo is sewed to the breathable material.

You’ll like the wading boots once you get them, the felt bottoms will grip the rocks alot better than hiking boots ever will. the studded felt bottom boots are even better or take the cheap route like I did and insert some screws into the felt for added traction.
