Just so everyone is aware, when i went to Acton Lake for the first time this year, Last week before it turned cold, I saw a Ohio Division of Watercraft truck at the boat ramp area. The officer was a woman and appeared she was checking boats coming out and going in. This is a good thing I would think but was giving a heads up so you can have the proper equipment in your boat!! Fishing was lousy that day but cold front was getting ready to move in also got about 6 --- 9 inch crappies but put them back.

Also be careful the Dredger that is used at the lake was parked at the boat loading and unloading area and blocking three of the ramps, and be careful going out on the lake seems to be lots of debris in the area, and lines coming off the Dredger not marked very clearly!!

Too bad the Div. of Watercraft wasn't there last weekend when the college kids w/ sailboats were out there. When they loaded their boats onto trailers, they completely clogged the ramps, blocking almost all ramp access. That really wasn't a big deal (just not exactly ramp etiquette), but the mess of trash, water bottles, etc. that they left was downright ignorant. They all looked to be good kids just having fun, but how hard is it throw your trash into a can? Sorry for the rant...
