Got out to Hargus today with Marshall. It was cold and windy, but the bass were absolutely hammering it. We lost count of the number we caught, but it was somewhere in the 35 to 45 range!

We ended up with 4 fish over the 15" limit. First keeper was 15.5 inches, taken off of a beaver hut on jig, second keeper was 15 inches taken off of another beaver hut on a spinnerbait, third keeper was 19 inches and 3.4 lbs, taken on a jig on a weedline, and fourth keeper was 18.25 inches and 2.6 lbs, taken on a jig on a weedline.

All in all a great day. Here are the pics:

  5. Those are some nice fish. I haven't been to Hargus in over a year. Great little lake. I need to get back out there sometime in the spring. My biggest Ohio bass has come out of that lake.
