Spotted the elusive "retired guy on a John Deere" (no picture) about an hour ago here in SW Ohio. Ol' feller lives down the road a couple miles. Believe he was just out servicing and tuning up. And no, George doesn't live down the road from me

Wild onions (aka Meadow Garlic) the ones I saw!

I rent a farm that's loaded with wild onions. They aren't bad fare. Funny thing is, I can't kill them. They come back year after year. You gotta watch they don't get in the feed. The milk can actually take on that smell if they eat enough of em.

Ramps have a very unique flavor, different from onions and garlic.
I'm addicted to them, but most folks either like or hate them.
A bad thing about them is you smell like h*ll after eating them.
