Fished below the dam at Griggs for a little while today. Water levels are definitely alot better after the rain. Only had about 40 minutes to fish and didn't catch anything but did see a few Saugeye and Catfish landed.Probably gonna hit it again tonight. Has anyone else hit it since wednesday's rain?

I was down there last night with my brother catching them hammer handle Eye's. Other then a few scrony Seye things have been exceptionally slow south of the Dam. Biggest problem is low water levels as the COC/Army corp. has been hydro-cycling the pipes down there all year. Basically the water levels will fluctuate +/- 1-3ft multiple times a day: Everytime the water drops holes are closed off, everytime it rises holes are opened...Safe to say that all parties involved are just a tad bit confused.

Should also add that the pool below Griggs basically gets fished dry every spring (seasonal migrations play a part too). Some of the more elusive species (Smallmouth/S-eye) can still be found every so often, but nearly every last Catfish/Crappie has either migrated south or been caught :(
