I want to take a canoe trip down the GMR and am looking for suggestions on good put-in/take-out spots. I want to do about a 4 hour trip with some fishing. I live in the vicinity of the west end of Winton Woods (north of Mt. Healthy). Any recommendations?

well when we were abt to fish the champion side of the new low level dam in hamilton we used to put in there and pick the canoe up in eggleston ball fields.. it was abt a 5 hr trip... from the gravel pits in farifield off river road down to the P&G bridge in ross there are many nice looking holes to fish..... even though you cannot put in at the champion waste site you can put the canoe in at the other side of the low level dam.... good luck fishing
