Great day on the Niagara!!!

Discussion in 'Fishing Reports - Out of State' started by archman, Oct 8, 2004.

  1. We went out with Captain Vince Pierleoni of Thrillseeker charters on the Niagara. We had a blast and I definitely recommend him. We had heard that fishing was really tough. He even suggested trying for salmon for the first 3 hours, and then switching to smallies. We ended up getting 4 kings by about 10:30. There were tons of boats on the river, and we only saw 1 other fish hooked all morning. There were definitely lots of jealous faces when they saw us hook these beauties. I guess our captain was doing something right.

  2. Since we heard things were so slow, I felt bad after I caught my first fish and let Katie reel in the 2nd one.

  3. Little did I know, she would catch two of her own later on.
