Grand or Chagrin?

Discussion in 'Steelhead Talk' started by K Pasa, Nov 25, 2008.

  1. I want to get out this Thursday and Friday.. I'll be heading east a bit so I was thinking Grand or Chagrin. Should these be fishable by then? I know they are both a bit high with the rain, but which should have a better chance?

Dont waste your time, both will be blown out for quite a while. Tribs or creeks may be fishable by Thursday or Friday, but even that is a long shot. We were out today and the creek we were fishing was okay early, but as the day progressed it just blew out right underneath us. Visibility 4-5", chocolate milk!

  3. Just drove over the grand by mason's landing, its up pretty good and there is still enough snow melting to give consistent runoff for the next two days, I would say sun at the earliest the tribs are your best bet if you want to fish thurs/fri. Even PA waters are plenty high
