  4. Chagrin has been a little slow but about normal for this time of the year, next month it should heat up good. Cuyahoga has been unbelievable for me this year already. The rocky has been a little slow but i've caught 2 of my biggest smallies this year and my biggest ever from a river(20 in, 4 lbs) in it. My best results were by using crayfish, green pumpkinseed tubes, and minnows. Hit the deeper pools by debris during the day and the bottom of fast water in the mornings and evenings. So far it's been one of the best starts to a smallie season I've seen in awhile

    I went to rocky today.
Went for origanally smallies, that didnt fair to well.
The I went for gar and used topwater and caught a nice smallie.
Switched to a twister tail and caught a big carp.
Seems the smallmouth numbers are down this year.
Wonder if its from all the gar I have been seeing.
