Went fishing 3 times on the Chagrin the last week and a half, mostly after work from about 7 to dusk (8:30 or so). Nothing huge, but got 5 cats, 7 smallies, and a rock bass.

I think it's still in the North Chagrin. It's a bit south of Squire's Castle, and north of Wilson Mills. I caught them on some pre-molded dough bait I got on clearance at bass pro shops. it was chicken liver "flavored". It works quite well. Really solid and holds onto the hook well. I went to Hidden Lake in the Lake County Metroparks and caught 10 channel cats between 12-16inches in 2 hours with it. I've had moderate success at the South Chagrin Reservation by the Polo fields. A few cats, 2 or 3 smallies this year, and a 2 foot carp. Haven't had a chance to go there recently though.

Thanks. Unfortunately those bass are about all I've caught this year, size wise. Still waiting to get a nice sized smaller from the chagrin.
