i need to stop over there sometime on my way to chicago, i would love to catch those fish with some Hikari pellets, pop up on a size 20 hooks..2lbs test lines..and some BBs splitshot to weigh it down..
Hey Ak, bring some of those bad boys home. The bigger the better. They could be my next bait!!!
Last saturday my buddy caught a 15 inch goldfish on a nightcrawler. we was fishin a paint creek.
I would suggest that college educated biologist release 4 medium sized flatheads in the lake and wait a year but I suppose he knows that when the goldfish are gone the bass will be next
Releasing a few dozen adult size saugeye might be a better solution.
Even a handful of hammerhandle pike would erradicate goldfish very quickly.
I am thinking there is more to the story than I can see. Adult bass usually consume goldfish as quickly as they can locate them
Since I pay from $8 to $12 for goldfish for bait, I can see where he can turn lemons into lemonade
And yes, bait dealers have their goldfish trucked in from Arkansas so they could travel fine.
I guess if it is on the internet----It must be true
