  1. Anyone ever fish for Pike on the GMR with LIVE bait? If so, what works best for you? I love using artificial, it's much more rewarding to catch a fish on artificial. But, Im sure Im not alone when I say that sometimes, a long and drawn out week can lead to one of those trips where you just want to throw your pole out, kick back in a chair, take in the air and outdoors, relaxe, and just wait, without a care in the world. and I kind of feel like doing that this weekend.
I mean, fishing with live bait involves some skill to. You have to rig up the bait, know a good spot from a bad one, know when and how to set the hook, and know how to fight the fish to ensure landing it. LoL, haha.. Trying to make something out of nothing. I just want to catch fish, and do it as lazily as possible, and Im trying to convince myself it still involves skill :D

LOL.. Anyways, what live baits work best for you, fishing for pike

  2. try some big shinner pike will hit any live fish

  3. Yeah, I was thinking of trying some nice fat creek chubs
  4. My buddy caught a small pike a few weeks ago. I think it was only 20" or 22 he caught it on a big-o craw color.
