GMR decent night (09/24/04)!!!

  1. caught this flathead on goldy, he snagged me into a tree for a little bit, he hit the bait as soon as it hit the water. I love it when they do that!!!

    Nice fish, there is a formula on a site that can give you a reasonably accurate weight from a length & girth measurement. Here it is...the fish calculator .

    If you get caught without a tape, you can lay your rod down against a fish, then measure it from the tip down to a guide, or the reel seat up to a guide. If push comes to shove, you could even cut a piece of line the length of the fish & then measure it when you get back... ;)

    just say that the moth that you photographed along with the fish has a 1ft wingspan. :D
