That is exactly like mine except for the color. I have seen other similar but never laid out exactly like mine. I can vouch for Pike on this one. This would make a great inland boat for someone. And with the 25 HP motor it will move very nicely.

Thanks Brian, the boat has been great. Easy to trailer and load by myself. I am sure that I will miss it.

I have the same boat but it's 14 1/2 feet. It's a great boat. Someone is getting a steal on this one!

Just curious how fast does that 25 run that boat?

By myself with gear and gas (I am 6'5" and every bit of 250), the boat will go a little over 26 according to my handheld gps. Add a friend and it will slow you down to about 22.

I'll vouch for the boat too! I have the exact boat, layout and all. Very versatile boat. I used to have a 25hp and I took it on Erie all the time, weather permitting of course. It handled 3' waves pretty good. Free bump!

I wouldn't sell my 14'5" Sea Nymph that cheap and mine is an 89 model.
    This is a steal.

why are you selling so nice of a boat. Iwould be interested if i new i could sell my 16' mirrocraft modifed-v. I 've been looking to buy a gas outboard for mine. seen your post and thought for the price of a motor it would be a good deal to buy one with a motor. The deep-v would be better on lake erie.

What is the 'actual' measure on the length and beam at the widest point. Sea Nympth has historically used lower lengths to size their boats. I once had a 16R which was actually more like 16'10" actual, and this may not just be a good boat for inland lakes but Erie as well. My son took mine10 miles out one calm day and caught a limit of large eyes and a limit of steelies as well!

    C.J.,

I can't say for sure but I believe the boat is a true 16 footer and I believe that the beam is 5'10". It has been used on Erie a few times and was comfortable relatively clam days.
