Fried Turkey

Discussion in 'OGF Kitchen' started by Nailer639, Nov 25, 2008.

  1. I like the garlic butter injection marinade but I can't find it anywhere. I was thinking of making my own. Does anybody have any recipes/tips?

Here's my dad's recipe. I used it when I fried a turkey last year. The best tasting turkey I've ever had.

    1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
    1/3 cup Olive Oil
    1/4 cup melted butter
    1 tsp Poultry Seasoning
    1 tsp Garlic Powder
    1 tsp Onion Powder
    1 tsp Sage
    1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Mix all together thoroughly and inject Turkey, Chicken, or any other fowl you choose.

  5. Nice:) Thanks for the fast recipes, they both look like a great place to start.
The brine recipe is very interesting too. Did anybody see the brine pressure cooker recipe for Corned Venison in the Ohio Outdoor News?
