Is it possible to upgrade a foot pedal on a trolling motor?
Got a new(used) boat w/an older Evinrude on the bow.
Runs great but I hate the pedal. I like the Minn Kota pedal on my old boat.
Can i just wire a new pedal?

i have 1998 era evinrude on my bow too. it runs both 12/24 v delectable. the direction is mechanical cable. power is mechqnical switch too

Just get used to the go button being on the other side of the pedal. I've had two Evinrude trolling motors on past boats, They were great trolling motors, with rock solid metal foot pedals. Why would you want to change it out of a plastic pedal?

Like the flat pedal opposed to the other one. I can adjust over time. Just looking at options.
