Fishing on Wed. (10-03)...Any suggestions?

  1. I will be looking for some decent catfishing in the Youngstown area on Wednesday, and I need some advice on where to go. I recently moved to this area from central OH, and I really need some direction on what lakes are good for channels. I am shorebound and looking for places within 20-30 mins. of the Youngstown area, so if anyone has any good ideas for me, I'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance.
  2. Mosquito has channels and flatheads.

  3. Like milton and berlin have channels
  4. Cheesehead Cory

For cats, I'd head down route 11 and fish the New Cumberland or Pike Island pool of the Ohio River. Might take you a little more than 30 min, but not much more.
  5. Thanks for the input. I'm really looking forward to getting some time to fish, so hopefully I can hit all of those places in the next couple of weeks. I'll post my report as well for anyone else heading out to those locations.
