Fishing 04/06/04...

Discussion in 'Northeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by TIGHTLINER, Apr 7, 2004.

  1. Myself and some buddies went out to West Branch Reservoir to do some fishing for a few hours. We tried floating a chartreuse pin-men tipped with wax-worms under a bobber and tightlining night-crawlers on the bottom with a 1 oz. lead sinker slip rig and floating minnows underneath of a bobber. We didn't have any luck at West Branch so we went to a farm pond. I caught 3 Crappie on minnows under a bobber and my first Largemouth Bass of the year. It went 13 1/2 inches long and hit on a night-crawler floated under a bobber. One of my buddies also caught a largemouth bass quite smaller than mine on a minnow. We didn't get any hits on night-crawlers tightlined there or on the floating wax-worms. All in all it was a pretty slow afternoon.......TightLines!
