Hey guys, I had a cheap swivel mount from an old fishfinder that I made work for my HDS7. It lasted a few years but gave out last weekend. What are you guys using? I prefer something that can swivel but is low profile so not to raise it any more than needed on my center console. Thanks

I use Ram mount but they take som space. It has 360 degree range of adjustment Google swivel mounts and you will find many options

I've used a Johnny Ray for 9" Humminbirds. It's simple to detach the entire unit for storage also...just push the lever & the entire unit lifts out with the gimball bracket. Ratchets L & R easily as well. Used one on the front deck of my Alumacraft & also on the console of my jon boat. Mike

I've heard a lot of people use them, I was looking at them but think they would be too big for my application. Thanks for the reply

I have a Ram mount and it is pretty versatile in how you can configure it to accommodate your sonar. I’ve had it a while and it won’t stay where you put it unless you really, REALLY tighten it down. I will replace it with a Cisco or similar soon.
I have had a couple Johnny Ray’s. One is on the front since 2007 and is still in service, the one on the dash broke when a buddy fell off the dock and ripped it off on the way down… Probably won’t buy another as the machined aluminum look like they will get the job done… if I sell one of the kids I might be able to afford one.

I have a new Johnny ray that I bought for my old boat that I have never used. Top mounting base 3 1/4" X 10" X 3" high, if you want it you can have it. I live in Avon Lake PM me if interested.
