Fished 5th avenue by OSU first....Couldnt really find a deep hole directly under the dam...Fished greenlawn 2nd and the water was pretty wild and couldnt find any calm deeper holes. Wolfe...same result. Deepest i was fishing was about 4 feet. Anyone catch any saugeyes under these dams or others lately??? What are you using? Also, how do you retrieve rouges or husky jerks in weather like this below dams?

It Seems like the eye's have shut off with the new cold spell. They did come on in the first few weeks of February, when it looked like spring was around the corner. But then the cold weather started up again and they seem to have completely shut off...Or there spawning. I have snagged into a number of fish lately. but lost them with in seconds. Winter is on it's way out, there are only so many cold crappy days left...them eye's will come on soon :). One trick to catching winter eye's is finesse and patience...Next time your out look for the shad....see how they are barely moving and look like there about to die? Your rouge needs to do the same thing.
