Taken from -Saugeye Tom- and S.W. Ohio fishing/random pictures.

Honestly a great idea and doesn't really matter where pictures come from. My thinking was kinda starting a post with this for each of the Ohio forums (sectors)

I'll start this off with my 1st fish of 2023.

Chagrin Valley fish and game club use to stock 2000 rainbow trout mile upstream from here, fun times we had until chase bag moved on!!!

I was river walking in the Bedford Metro parks this afternoon and came across several guys cast netting a deep pool and catching white suckers and quill backs...now I saw them let the fish go but on my way back I saw a bucket with some fish in it. Not sure if this was legal or not...felt illegal like though. Next time I'm back to area I'll stop and show the rangers a video I took...

Twisted,

They do that up in Cuyahoga Falls. River has never been the same since. Yes, they keep the "other" fish and throw some of the forage fish back. Rangers do nothing. They'd rather give you a ticket for going 32 in a 30.

It Started to drizzle here, so I'm back in,,,,, so the Wifee is frying up some deer sausage & onions, & I'll top that off with eggs & cheeeze. One bodacious Omelet!
AND,, I was out my daughters yesterday, & I almost fell over backwards at the sight that I seen on my MUSHROOM TOTEM!
I finally had a flush on my Shitake 3-slab high totem!! There they were, Between both layers, all the way around! BUT, it looks like they flushed about a week ago. I had to re-constitute them. Hydrate, CPR.

First time trying these,,,,, so If I'm not on here again,, BSn,,, You know I didn't live through the taste test. ;>)

Hopefully we have a season for them here in Ohio soon

Love hearing them and eating them ( Ribeye of the sky)

We have a nesting pair in southern Summit co too… the had a chick and stayed thoughout the whole winter.

Don, that bass looks very familiar! Are you using different pics of the Same fish?😀 Of course, just kidding! Anybody who can go fishing “before” and/or “after” work gets my vote for “Angler of the Year”! You’re way out front of the rest of them(us!)!-and “cooking” all the time!

I simply put my work hours in and fish as much as possible even it's just 15 minutes somewhere. Rod is always in the car. More to come soon I promise hahaha 😂 🎣

Couldn’t pass up the perfect weather day on Erie for small mouths. I ended up catching 10. My brother got 6. Largest was 5lbs couple 4 pounders and many 3 pounders. Sure beats working.
