I launched at the upper end of Caesar Creek for the first time yesterday and was impressed with the variety of depths and structure between there and the next ramp down. Plenty of non-motorized craft were fishing around me but I didn't notice much success. Surprised at how dingy the water was. Seems like ideal habitat for LM bass. In two hours of trolling crawler harnesses and cranks, I didn't get a bump. So what species abounds there and what lures work?

That area is usually best in the spring when the fish are coming up to Spawn... crappie, bluegill, whitebass, and musky are usually what I catch there in the fall and the spring. In the summertime I would target channel cats in that area.
