JB, once I get your fins fixed I will put the post up. I will just have to put a disclamer on the photo due to I didn't mount it... flash----------------------out
Action, it is the actual fish. Everything on the bass is real except the eyes. All fins, head, skin, gills, etc...are real. I should shoot some shots of the fish from outside in the sun. I used 12 different colors of paint on this one. Some of the paints are shimmers, of which can only be seen if you look at it in sunlight and kinda tilt/angle to fish. I think this one turned out pretty good. I will post some pics of the crappie and walleye I am slowly working on, when they are done. flash-----------------------------------out
---------------------------------- there she is in the drying stages. As far as how much I charge....just now starting to do a little this and that for friends. I am not a pro, I take my time, and try to do my best work. If I don't think I can do a good job on a paticular species of fish, I just tell them I can't do it yet. As far as artistic, you definatley have to have a steady hand when painting the details on the fish. As you can see, when fish dries, they loose all of the color they used to have. The entire fish must be painted. flash----------------------------------out
Carp look better in the water. Bass look better on the wall... flash-------------------------------out
That fish looks about like the same pose as my 7 1/2 lber, butthe paint job looks much better. Wished mine turned out that way!
