    I try to get up to Big Gull Lake in Ontario at least once a year. I take a big box of my newest lures, hoping that I've created the next world's hottest lure.

    This picture is of a flatsided balsa minnow. It's about 4 inches long. The hooks are size 4. The eyes are plastic and teh finish is epoxy. It also has a single through-wire.

    Although this pike was only about 18" long, this lure also caught a 3 pound largemouth bass, several smallmouth bass and a little walleye.
