Started out fishing with a 6" red/black ribbontail worm....nada

Found out that I left all my jigheads/plastics in my fanny pack and had a very limited assortment in my vest to work with.

Things I had going for me:

1) It was snowing an awful lot and I couldn't see crap
2) I had 3 jigheads and yellow twistertails and some spinners
3) I fell at the top of the hill, complete banana peel type slip and slid within 3 feet of taking a drink...steep sided ponds
4) As I'm taking my tumble I pass by some Canadian Geese that are obviously nesting and very angry at me...sounded like a house cat on steroids!

All in all, 9 bass and 2 crappie. Biggest bass was around 2 to 2 1/2 lbs and all fish were very healthy. Fish were picking up the bait on drops and as soon as I brought it off the bottom. They're starting to get more and more of their spring color with the water "trying" to warm

Haha! Sounds like one of those trips you wouldn't mind forgetting, but never will! But hey, at least you caught some fish while you were at it! :)
