Hello, looking for suggestions on family vacation locations. Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota I have 3 young boys who cant get enough time fishing. Without heading into Canada looking for ideas on fishing cabins with access to Walleye, Pike and Smallmouth. Somewhere to get away & a little different fishing then SW Ohio. Thanks

I have been to Hamlin Lake in Michigan several times, stayed at Sunset Bluffs Resort, plenty of pike, bass, panfish and the occasional musky. They rent boats also if needed. It is right next to Luddington State Park, very nice hiking trails there also.

Man, keep your dollars in Ohio! You got Lake Erie to your north. Sooooo many options, lodging, fishing (the best), activities. Very different than SW Ohio. ;)

Sleeping bear sand dunes in NW Michigan. Camp or stay around Empire or Glen Arbor. Big Glen and Little Glen Lake are good for perch and Trout and other panfish. Lake Michigan for Salmon trout, and perch. You can spend time climbing the sand dunes or kayaking/canoeing the Platte River to Lake MI. Great for families! Right up there with the Outer Banks!

Were camping in East Harbor again this year and have been up around Lake Erie a lot. Its certainly a worthwhile trip and we enjoy the area. Still to many people though. Ill look into the other suggestions. Thanks
