fall crappie movements.

  1. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what are the usual patterns for the fall crappies. The water at the lake was around 58 degrees.

    I would look for shoreline cover early and late in the day. If its a clear water lake, they'll bite after dark too.

They are pretty active late in the day, i dont know about morning but im sure they are. they are sitting on the bottom a lot now because of the cooler temps in guessing and they are really starting to feed a lot. i used a birght yellow "hard nose" worm on a jig and caught about 15 in maybe 2 hours, you should do fine! good luck!
