Do you have any more details on the Smallmouth presentation on the 16th.?

Is the video feed two way so we can harass Tory on the 30th?

Sho'nuff, Ducky, on both counts.

Geoff is a bit of an expert on smallmouth bass nest success and a generally great guy. In large part, it was his work that eventually led to a closed season on Ohio's Lake Erie waters in order to protect male smallmouth on the nest, especially from goby predation. (See, e.g., this article.) Geoff will speak on variability in male parental care, why some smallmouth are extremely attentive to the nest and some are slackers.

Yes, the link is two-way, so you can hassle Tory at will...and be seen doing so as well as heard.

Tomorrow's talks are big on Ohio's fisheries management. I hope to see a few of you at OSU. Please offer me your "howdy" if you make it out.

Tomorrow's talks again promise to be of great interest to anglers: all about nesting smallmouth bass followed by the Director of the ODNR. Again, please say "howdy" if you happen by the OSU location.

Sure enough, same Stone Lab, still operated by the same OSU. C'mon back, Mr. bass. We're still pretty cool. You can find more info than you'll ever need by clicking the Stone Lab link in the post that started this thread.
