The weather and lake conditions are not at all favorable for this weekend. Me thinks I'll just have to suffer through another week of no fishing. :(
I'm hoping for next week sometime...!
Anyone thinking of trying it...???

3 day weekend for me.
Friday off with pay.
If it howling ,maybe make a run up to misquito lake.

I looked at the forecast earlier and it sounds like it is going to be a mess tomorrow and Thursday. I'm supposed to be up from the 15th through 19th, staying on Middle Bass. I am seriously considering seeing if the other 2 guys can move their time off to the following week. The long term does not look good! I know it is still almost 2 weeks away and a lot can change but.....

Either way, it is easier to be stuck down here not fishing when the weather is nasty. Crappie tourney anyone?!

You are welcome to come up and fish the creek on my property. We have some darn nice chubs in it. Makes for a decent fix when all else fails.:p

Hey thanks Shortdrift, smoked chub's sounds pretty good...! :D
I'll just have to wait it out though...I still have some yard work to keep me busy and my mind off fishing. ;)

What must it look like to see 14' waves crash over some of the shallow reefs like cone, and niagra..........! sure hope the females have not droped their eggs yet, and this is the "big blow" we get every spawn...... and the weather settles down for the main event.....

Mother nature just confirmed the killing of my lake plans this Easter weekend! Call me funny; I cant make sense of de-winterizing my lake place in winter conditions. Weather.com says as of today:

FRI - 32/38
SAT- 31/29
SUN- 36/31

This doesnt include wind chill etc. doesnt need too:eek: I hope this cold blast will get the colder stuff out of mother-nature's system.

Spinning; Just a thought but you may want to consider calling the ferry line before you go up to eliminate risk of any surprises :G

The fish are lucky one more weekend!!!;)

That's 33 degrees for a high. Starting out at 7am you will be lucky if it is 22, that's inland. Figure 10-20 degrees colder on the lake, and then windchill.....

Winds from the west: Finely a good thing.
Winds at 40+ knots: Not good, its going to suck all the water out of the western basin.
Staying close to home this weekend. Maybe find a pond in a woods somewhere to get out of the winds.
See you next weekend at the reefs guys.
