This goes to those who have road runner. When you set up your email account the incoming server is pop-server.woh.rr.com and the outgoing server is smtp-server.woh.rr.com........

Does this look correct? I can recieve email but nobody here can send it out. Anyone got any clues?

I don't use RR email, but a lot of SMTP servers require authentication on the send.

Goto your outgoing server properties (assuming you're using Outlook) and check the box that says "outgoing server requires authentication", then check the box that says something like "use my logon credentials from my incoming server" (that way it won't prompt you for a l/p everytime you send mail). Give that a shot.

FYI, those server names are correct I would assume. I got ping replies on both, meaning they do exist.

  3. I use rr, this is what my outgoing server info says: smtp-server.woh.rr.com, so you got it right.

That's the same kind of crap that always gets me too.
Glad you got it figured out Jim.
