Does everyone prefer electric ? My son has a real nice filet knife and just wondering howmuch nicer electric isI would go with one of the rechargeable ones over an electric…beats running a cord and gives you the opportunity to go mobile…either way you won’t be disappointed
Thanks you answered my questionIf you are good with a regular knife & dont fish a lot you can do pretty well with a regular knife plus most people end up with more meat. If you are pressed for time & have a lot of fish to clean electric works nice. For me any way I like a regular knife to clean big fish, its hard on many electric knives sawing through those big bones.
Yes right through them leave skin attached at tail, cut out ribs, run knife under fillet to skin, comes off 2 pieces ribs and boneless fillet.Are you electrified guys cutting through rib bones and then scooping them out or fileting around them? I'm trying to learn before I go electric.
