Ok here goes: I know NOTHING about bullet energy as it relates to ability to ethically kill a deer. Up to know I have never considered taking a shot over 60 yards because I have never practiced for such a shot. I am thinking of switching ammunition based on ballistics data that shows much less drop for Remington sluggers as compared to the Brennekes I use now. What I do not know is if 926 ft/lbs is acceptable (again ethically) to drop a deer. Is there some type of standard energy that is given as acceptable?
