I think he was on the dam. At least some video from the news showed rescue workers on the dam. I think he was in his 40's....maybe it's another person. They performed CPR but pronounced him dead on the scene.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office is investigating a drowning.

It happened in the lake at Caesar's Creek State Park in Waynesville Friday night.

Investigators say a fisherman near the dam wall called 9-1-1 after he spotted a body under water near the Flat Fork area of the park.

When deputies arrived they found Timothy Ruppert, 40, of Franklin Township, floating face down.

Deputies attempted to resuscitate him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say foul play is not suspected in the drowning.

  4. your right mrfishohio i was wrong

  5. I also heard that the guy just walked into the lake, didn't fall in but walked in and just kept walking until the water was over his head? Apparently he was also wearing a backpack.

None of it makes much sense to me.
