I am going to be doing some crappie fishing tomorrow night and just wondering if anyone has done this before with live bait or fake and how well it works also how does one set up a rig for deep water crappie like this? Will be in 30 ft of water casting to 15 ft

32 oz jighead polymer knot it and leave about a foot and a half of tag line. Then put a small swivel weight at the end of the tag line. Tip with a 1/4 in. Worm or minnow. Works best dragging/ bouncing the weight off the bottom keeping the line tight. And jigging. Works drop offs from bottom up till you find what depth they're at.

I watched some of this video after asking about drop shotting, I went to try it a few days later and well lets just say trying to tie these knots in the dark sucks so I never was able to try it but thanks for the video.
