any action in the spillway?????
Been wondering the same myself. Thought about making a trek down there tomorrow morning after work.
i get off at 11am...is that bait store still open? the one just befor the dam.
I think it closed unfortunately. You have to go up to Norton to get your bait now. 23 and 229 I believe it is?
ok thanks....man if i had the time and money i would open a bait shop there...
it seems like that place was always closed...a guy could make a killing there.
will you still be up at noon????
i might see ya
Not really sure. All depends on the fishing and how hot it gets down there. LOL.
man with this rain i hope i can get in the water....
any info would be great.
What do you guys use for bait and what are u fishing for (Bass) ??
Where abouts is the Spillway ?
i use bass min. and for what i fish for...anything.....
in the past ive got s-eye and cats.
i just hope its not a blow out down there.
It's not blown out down there. The Olentangy this morning on the way home was normal level. Here are the stats as of right now:
DELAWARE 915.18 0.04 0.00 57. 0600
The 57 is the outflow. It's wadable clear up to 127, then it gets tricky. Plans changed for me this morning, and had to come home after work. With the water this low, it makes for a great time to take a fly rod down there Crappies should be going full force as well. Cats; of course. Saugeyes.......if you know how to handle them in warm water hehe.
You still goin' Fish? What time if so?
with low water that means no eyes....
i might hit alum..
thanks a ton
thanks rick for the pm
good luck today
That's what they all say
in all my years of fishin' this is what ive always run into....
thanks for the info...tpet.
Sometime when we're down there, I'll show ya the tricks of the trade. Have pulled many mid july limits from down there at a low flow. You have to wade to get them, but it's actually quite simple
that would be cool....
