Wow! That brings back some memories in a rather weirded out way. :D

  2. Pretty cool.

But like a lot of things made/remade in Asia, just not quit the same as the original. :)

I like Steve Morse, but Deep purple isn't deep Purple without Richie Blackmore.

Kinda like Black Sabbath without Ozzy Osbourne.

    Great video, though.

  6. I agree with you 100% on this one.

We don't mention Dave Mustaine in this household.

Pretty Cool....but I couldn’t take the whole thing.

Although Blackmore has multiple personalities and was a bit of a sloppy player he is still one of my main influences and IMO the greatest improvising guitar player I have studied.

He has classical shred qualities but his tone doesn’t overpower in the mix of an album. Roger Glover’s production skills are very awesome. Wished he would do more stuff because I have liked the majority of the bands he has recorded.

Noo way would see DP without Blackmore on the stage!!!
Thatd be like Ozzy without Randy Rhoads.

Sloppiness and rock and roll go hand in hand. There is no one sloppier, nor better, than Jimmy Page

Coincidence...I saw that ZEP cover band ZOSO last weekend here @ the N-Port.
They did a hella good job covering some obscure tracks. I really dont normally do the coverband thing but i bought the tix before Zep even announced they are probably going to do some more touring.
The comeback show got my interest up again as yes i am a big Page fan as well. I doubt i will shell out the bucks to see this reunion and i havent watched/heard much bootlegg LZ stuff.

I thought the PAGE being sloppy rumor was just jealousy on part of EVH:cool:
Of course i am too young to know:p

  14. Brings back memories of the phillipines. Coverband central. Still remember walking in this one little club and the band cranked out indagatadevita to the T, the drummer was amazing and all us sailors were going nuts.

This might be more your style. Sister Rosetta Tharpe. She was a helluva guitarist.
