Curing single salmon egg's ?????

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Fish On, Nov 5, 2004.

  1. Was wondering if anyone out there has a single egg recipe , i have used the muratic acid route and some of the eggs come out white and sometimes they split when you put them on the hook , i know it all depends on the mixture and how long you leave them in the solution , i have heard there are other recipes out there that are alot better than the muratic acid recipe that make the eggs last longer and easier to make ... can someone PLEASE help me out if you have a good recipe for making salmon eggs so they will stay on a small hook so you can fish them under a float ...
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use the Guide's Favorite Cure (Borax)

On the site they use fabric dye to colour the egg's ------ Un-Sweetend Jell-O will work just as well.
