Can ayone explain to me why you would drag a boat all the way from Chicago to lake cumberland to catch bluegill. We just got back from there and as we stood at the fish cleaning station with a limit of stripers all over 30 inches, a few guys walked up to clean a mess of 3 inch bluegill. What a waste of time. Not to mention you can catch bluegill in almost any body of water. Why travel that far to catch them, and even bother to bring a boat. If they were a mess of big gills I could maybe understand but 3 inchers. I just don't get it. I would stop at McDonalds if all I wanted was 1 fish sandwich.
