Crappie at Delaware

Discussion in 'Central Ohio Fishing Reports' started by dallsbro, May 29, 2007.

  1. Went out yesterday morning, and killed them early. 3 of them were 12 inches, and 30 others were over 10. Bite settled as the day went on. Too many boats out caused the water to muddy up badly. I found a cove that was about 6 feet deep, and landed them all day, but not much size as the day went on. The big ones were in the thickest of thick. I am going to try to get up there again in the next couple of days. There are many spots on the main lake that I want to try, but when I dont have to deal with white caps coming at me in every direction.

  2. dallsbro,
Way to go. I never attempt to go fishing on a major holiday, at any lake. There are just too many buttheads out there. If you can go to Delware on a normal week day, you usually are almost alone. At least your not fighting white caps from every direction.
