At least that's how it turned out. Went out last night in search of some smallmouth action only to have my crank baits smashed by channel cats the whole time. Fished some fast moving water and these cats were hitting hard. Fun to catch but not the targeted species. Biggest one went about 4Lbs. 4 caught on all. No pics though forgot my phone in the car.

A 4 lb channel out of fast water is a good time! I'm always surprised by how hard they hit crank baits.
