Last year during bow season I was lucky enough to harvest a coyote, and now have it frozen in a large freezer. Which taxidermists in central ohio will skin and tan this for me...and what is an approximate cost...or is it too late? It is actually for my dad (for his classroom), but I will just forward the information to him.

    Thanks!

  2. I've had a few done over the years by some one i have given alot of buisness to and he charged me $80.00.He said the reason he charged so much(and I already new)is that they are very pungent to skin and flesh. He takes them outside or they will stink up the hole shop.

  3. If you can skin & stretch it, there's a couple places that you can send it & have it tanned for about $25-$30, including shipping. My cousin sent 3 in about a month ago to a place in Utah that does a garment grade (very soft) tan for $30 apiece w/ shipping. I'm sending one in a couple days.
The skinning isn't that stinky & there is almost no fleshing to do since they carry almost no fat.
