I was there last week to mainly work on trolling crank
baits, but when it got hot - I decided to move to the
shade, and try for the crappie like most of the boats
I was seeing.
The crappie weren't hitting the minnows under a float.
The people throwing jigs, and RR's were catching "dinks!"
on every third cast. They were in the shade, (shallow)
- on the bank accross from the Marina. I wasn't really
expecting to catch a keeper, so it was very fun, and
it made for an enjoyable morning!
