Corn Set-ups

Discussion in 'Bowhunting' started by Boston30, Aug 8, 2007.

  1. When sitting on the edge of a corn field and woods... do most of you keep the Corn downwind of you for an afternoon hunts and upwind for mornings? Or do you just practice strict scent control and take your chances?

But what if the deer are bedded in the corn? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. That seldom works out. Every situation is different, so there's no answer to your question. Set up so prevailing winds will work in your favor where you feel deer are most likely to come from. Ideally, it's a cross wind.
