Decided to go out for the "afternoon bite" (or lack thereof). While at ramp getting ready to launch, got a call from an old friend. He suggested trolling some structure off Pelee. I ran up on the southeast side and set up in 19' of water. Ran 1 oz back 30' and 2 oz back 20. "Acid rain" was the ticket. It wasn't real fast but a fish about every 15 minutes. speed was 1.4 to 1.6 Ended up boating 7 and kept 6. Mostly just eaters with biggest about 5 lbs. Lake was mirror flat and not another boat in site. fair amount of algae.

I always had good luck back in the 80's around Mill Point this time of year. At that time it was casting weight forward spinners or flatlining warts and tots. Nice to hear about the areas I used to fish. How about some pictures of those "foreign" walleye?:)
